Where You’ll Work
You will be based primarily anywhere in Ulster, and will be required to travel across Island of Ireland. You will be working as part of the Veolia Industrial, Business Development Team. What You’ll Do
As a Business Development Manager for Veolia’s Industrial Customers business unit, you will be joining a highly motivated and successful team. You will be required to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets by building and maintaining a full pipeline of new business opportunities from a designated region. The successful candidate will be required to utilise core sales techniques where appropriate e.g. Lead generation, sales presentations to senior management, product demonstrations, managing trial process, input to proposal writing, negotiation and closing business. You will also need to maintain an effective pipeline of relevant major prospective clients in your region while building a good quality, strategic Sales Plan that supports sales activities throughout the year.
Skills & Qualifications Required For The Role
To enable you to carry out this role you will need to be passionate, self motivated, hard working, tenacious; with a can-do attitude while being financially driven and skilled in new business development.
A proven track record is also required of at least 5 years in managing revenue growth through Solution sales, in Environmental Facilities or Energy markets. You will require the ability to access opportunities at a strategic level rather than at a tactical level while demonstrating a sound knowledge of the sales cycle and ability to create a pipeline of profitable business.
