Position: Alarm Engineer (Inspector)

Working within the Diamond Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for helping to deliver the companies routine maintenance contracts. The role will be as Alarm Inspector. The company will consider employment on either a full time or part time basis, and will offer the option to be included in the call out rota or not.

The Main Duties of the Alarm Inspector will include:

Routine servicing and inspection of life safety and security alarm systems, in accordance with NSI Gold requirements, completing all documentation in line with company requirements

Some (limited) fault finding on life safety and security alarm systems, in accordance with NSI Gold requirements, completing all documentation in line with company requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the alarm or electrical industry
  • Previous experience of working for an NSI Gold company (desirable but not essential), delivering routine maintenance on fire and security systems
  • Certificated training in the testing of alarms (FIA courses or NVQ Qualified) – desirable but not essential as training will be provided
  • A good team player with a very positive attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Full clean driving licence

In accordance with the requirements of the National Security Inspectorate, the candidate will be required to be security cleared, with satisfactory character and employment references. This will be a site based role, of 40 hours per week (if full time, would consider part time also), and a company vehicle will be provided.

Salary in the region of £25,000 (dependent on experience). Part time hours will be considered if desirable by the candidate.

Holidays: 28 days per year (including statutory days)
