Grant Thornton are looking for Paraplanners to join the profitable and rapidly growing Wealth Advisory Department. Working as part of this high-energy team of likeminded people. Our focus is building and protecting wealth, your focus will be supporting our highly talented advisers. Together you will provide an outstanding client service to our high net worth clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Keep up to date with industry changes that affect the role by reading appropriate updates.
  • Constantly strive to deliver a service that exceeds our clients’ expectations
  • After detailed discussions with Authorised Adviser, produce detailed, clear and accurate suitability reports in line with the client’s objectives, for approval by the Adviser within agreed timescales
  • Oversee all resulting transactions to ensure all are carried out promptly and correctly, and ensure Adviser is kept updated at all times
  • Follow standard processes and procedures as laid down by the Firm.
  • Ensure knowledge levels are kept up to date with any changes in company policy and procedures
  • Understand workflow and be able to deliver various tasks within the agreed timescales
  • Pass written correspondence for ‘4 eyes’ checking to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Undertake any ad hoc tasks as required by people manager.

Who we’re looking for:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Paraplanner/Wealth Analyst role
  • Ideally with a financial qualification
  • Have an understanding and demonstrable experience of delivering an outstanding client experience
