As Team Manager (maternity cover) you will contributing to the ongoing development of a service that aims to re-empower children and young people and help them stay safe.

Team Manager, Safe Choices (Maternity Cover) – until 31st October 2019

Location: Northern Ireland Regional Office

Contract type: Fixed term

Hours: 37

Salary : £26,966.83

Safe Choices provides a direct therapeutic service to young people who are affected by or at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation/Abuse or at risk of going missing from home or care.  The service provides support to young people on a 1:1 basis.  It also provides consultation to professionals i.e. Social Services, PSNI, Education and Health.

As Team Manager (maternity cover) you will contributing to the ongoing development of a service that aims to re-empower children and young people and help them stay safe.  

The Team Manager (maternity cover) will manage and support a team of 3 workers who cover the five Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland.  They will work closely with the Assistant Director Children’s Services to ensure that the service is meeting contractual requirements.  They will also provide advice to external and internal professionals and advocate on behalf of Barnardo’s at relevant CSE/CSE fora. Therefore the Team Manager work base can be flexible dependent on available office space.

Location: Across Northern Ireland

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: £26,966.83 FTE

*Starting salary is generally at the beginning of the pay band however, further consideration will be given to exceptional candidates
