Seagate’s facility in Londonderry is among the most advanced in the world in the design, development and volume manufacturing of recording heads, which write information onto and read information from the recording disc within the data storage device.
Software Developer (Ref: PSD/185249)
The Data Analytics and Reporting team are a global team with resources in the US, Asia and Northern Ireland. The team is engaged in developing and maintaining factory control systems leveraging Artificial Intelligence in areas such as image processing, automated data monitoring, recommendation and automated decision making. Web based applications are required to report on the outcomes of such control systems and integrate with these and other factory information systems. The software development function within the team is responsible for delivering these capabilities.
We are looking for a software developer to complement the existing team. They will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a progressive outlook with a strong emphasis on teamwork. Excellent application development skills and a constant desire to innovate through research and leverage of emerging technologies are critical to the success of this role
