A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the ideal candidate to join The 5* Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast’s Sales and Marketing team as Sales Co-Ordinator

Position Title:                    Sales Co-Ordinator

Department:                      Sales and Marketing Department

Responsible to:                  Director of Sales and Marketing

Announcement date:          Monday 29th October 2018

Expiration date:                  Monday 12th November 2018

We hope to recruit a dynamic and motivated sales co-ordinator to join our Sales and Marketing team with the overarching aim of increasing our sales potential.  The purpose of the role is to assist with achieving the sales and marketing objectives and will fully support the sales team with administration duties, customer service and sales lead perspectives to develop future and repeat business.

 Summary of Main Tasks and Responsibilities;

  • Assisting the sales team in meeting targets
  • Generating and developing sales leads
  • Responding to customer queries in relation to meetings and events
  • Conducting face to face appointments and hotel show rounds in the absence of a Sales Manager
  • Assist with administration tasks, monthly reporting and ensuring that all data bases are maintained
  • Assisting with Christmas enquiries, bookings, pre-orders and follow up.


  • Excellent organisation communication and administration skills
  • High level of IT skills
  • Passionate and motivated about the role and the duties involved
  • Confident and pro-active approach with new customers


  • Degree or relevant qualification in a marketing, hospitality or similar discipline
  • One years’ experience in a dedicated sales role within the hospitality sector
