We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor. You will initially be based at our head office in Monaghan but will have the opportunity to work in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Europe on many different projects.

This opportunity: Quantity Surveyor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor. You will initially be based at our head office in Monaghan but will have the opportunity to work in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Europe on many different projects.  You will be working on projects up to £10million and reporting into the Senior Management Team and Company Directors.

Responsibilities include;

  • Assist with the tendering process, building up price rates on project drawings.

  • Using out Integrated Management System throughout all stages of each project.

  • You will monitor and control all stages of your designated project(s) within predetermined budget and expenditure. Also, responsible for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments and the final account.

  • Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered.

The desired applicant will have the following:

  • College/University degree

  • Engineering/Structural Background desirable  

  • 2 years work experience is preferable

  • Proficient in Excel and have strong IT skills
