Are you interested in developing your career in clinical governance in community care?


Irish HomeCare is recruiting for a motivated individual to join us as a Clinical Nurse Manager to act as an expert practitioner within the field of home/community services. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will move into a more senior Clinical Governance position as the company expands its services and a commitment to personal development is required.


The ideal candidate for us would be a senior staff nurse with management experience or currently working as a Clinical Nurse Manager.


Location -This role is office based in Castleblayney with some potential travel required.


Salary–Negotiable in line with the national standard.



 Registered with NMBI.

3 years post registration experience, currently working at CNM or Senior Staff Nurse level.

Have line management or significant supervisor experience within healthcare particularly community care.

Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.

Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.

In possession of a full clean driving license.



 Provide leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for clinical practice.

Provide leadership, and support to the operations teams in the provision of clinical and care support services.

Oversee and ensure the provision of the highest quality clinical care to Irish HomeCare clients within the services you support.

Actively contribute to improving the quality of care planning in line with organisational policy and procedures and best practice.

Assist in the development, implementation, and review of all policies, procedures, quality management programmes and guidelines, incorporating research and evidence-based best practice.

Collaborate with service users, family, carers and other staff, in the provision of support and advice.

Demonstrate a commitment to the identification of risk by ensuring correct reporting processes as well as follow through on action plans and implementation of preventative actions.

Working closely with the operation teams to anticipate and identify improvements needed and address deficiencies in the quality of service delivered.

To promote a person-centered approach to care, utilising specialist knowledge relating to the care of the client and family.

To act as an effective role model and resource/advisor to colleagues in the delivery of care and provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership.
