Infant Mental Health Key Worker (Practice Development) (2218)
The ABC PiP Service delivers structured and therapeutic interventions for children 0-24 months and their parents/carers; the aim of which is to promote positive relationships in the early years and to promote good infant mental health. The interventions are evidence informed/based and can be delivered as a 1:1 home visiting service or in a small group setting.
Barnardo’s N.I. is strategically partnering with the South Eastern Trust with the explicit aim of developing a nurturing approach across children’s services to improve the well-being of children and families.
Barnardo’s will specifically be investing in workforce development opportunities for professionals employed across the South Eastern Trust within the community/voluntary/statutory and private sector.
It’s planned that the following training will be provided between Jan-March 2019
The role of the Infant Mental Health Keyworker (Practice Development) post will be to engage professionals across the community/voluntary/statutory and private sector and offer them the opportunity to avail of training above. Furthermore the post holder will be required to work alongside trained individuals to ensure the learning is embedded within their respective sector/organisation.
Location: Based in ABC PiP Service – St Mary’s Primary School, 8 Moss Road, Ballygowan, BT23 6JE
Hours: 22.2 per week (3 days working pattern to be confirmed on appointment)
Salary: £23,545 FTE (£14,127 for 22.2 hours)
*Starting salary is generally at the beginning of the pay band however, further consideration will be given to exceptional candidates
