CDE is now seeking to appoint an experienced Graphic Designer to join the team.  Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this position is based in Cookstown, Northern Ireland.

Job Role:

The Graphic Designer will support the design requirements for the Global Marketing team. This is a varied and dynamic role which requires initiative and creativity to create new ideas and concepts, and to plan and produce a variety of B2B marketing materials to support communication both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the wider marketing team to deliver design, artwork, layout and copy for brochures, event branding and all marketing collateral – print & digital
  • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts, and work with a range of media, web and graphic design software
  • Help to promote the implementation of graphic-rich content working within brand guidelines, throughout the company’s sales and marketing materials by:
  • creating new materials (flyers, brochures, stands and corporate presentations)
  • creating digital materials for banners, images & icons on the website and other similar material for social media platforms
  • create visually appealing and exciting content for our various communication platforms
  • Assist the Events Manager in organising end executing all aspects of UK & international exhibitions and events including the development of design elements development for our UnEarth concept
  • Be the main point of contact for external designers and printers and ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
  • Responsibility for business cards across the business
  • Help with presentations by assembling videos, slideshows and analyses of competitors
  • Any other duties that arise within the role and department

  • Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
  • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines

Personal profile:

  • Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a fast paced commercial environment
  • Can demonstrate experience in Photoshop & Indesign
