This is a unique opportunity to join a family-run and multi-award-winning online retailer grown from a bedroom 8 years ago and now one of the fastest-growing companies today.

Joining our small but efficient and effective team as an E-commerce Assistant, you’ll be expected to make an effective contribution to the development and growth of the company, handling a wide range of tasks including providing excellent customer service, listing and re-ordering products, data-entry tasks and assisting in the daily operation of the company while maintaining a high-level of productivity and consistently meeting targets. 
 
Taking ownership and responsibility of each task, you should be able to work proactively and independently, as well as part of a team to achieve goals. The successful candidate should have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and be competent at fulfilling the wide range of duties listed below as well as any other tasks, as and when required, to ensure the smooth-running daily operations and continued development of the company. 
 
Salary: £17k – £20k depending on experience and qualifications

Work-Times: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

12 month probationary period applies
 
Duties include

  • Providing excellent customer service via via email, live chat & telephone
  • Processing customer escalations, returns, refunds and claims
  • Creating product listings, descriptions and images
  • Product research
  • Administration tasks
  • Assistance to management
  • Conducting meetings and liaising with suppliers
  • Any of other tasks to meet the changing needs of the business

These duties may change and/or responsibilities increased as the business continues to change and grow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivelent
  • High level of computer literacy and know-how
  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
