 Job Description

Perm hours within an experience door team. Up to £11.65 after probation. To provide a safe and comfortable experience for customers. MUST hold a current SIA door supervisors licence.

JOB TITLE: Door Staff Supervisor

 

PURPOSE OF JOB: To maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers. To ensure all customers are treated in a professional and efficient manner

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To have your SIA licence valid at all times and displayed on your person
  • To deal with customers in a courteous manner
  • To remain pleasant & professional at all times
  • To be aware of health & safety regulations
  • To ensure under-age drinkers are not permitted onto the premises
  • To ensure I.D is checked if suspicions are raised
  • To ensure minimum force is used in removing unruly customers
  • To change kegs when required to do so
  • To have a clean/healthy personal hygiene standard
  • To communicate with bar manager/supervisor any complaints, accidents or breakages.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner and not to bring the business into any disrepute whilst socialising on the premises
  • To assist in any other duties that may be required by the management team

Hours of work:  Mostly weekends/evening. WILL BE required for Saturday evening shifts

Location of work: Based at Laverys Bradbury Place 

Reports to: Shift Supervisors, Duty Managers and Heads of Departments

Essential requirements:

  • Have proof of right to work in the UK
  • Have a bank account in your own name
  • Be able to converse in English
  • Must be of 18 years of age in order to comply with licensing law
