The successful candidate will work alongside a large, professional accounts team and be responsible for producing accurate contract accounts on a monthly basis, as well as overall responsibility for sales ledger function, reporting on debtors and setting cash targets.
This will involve monthly accounts reviews with the management teams, financial reporting of actual v budget on larger contracts, alongside, where necessary, analytical reviews on margins and final forecasts.
Qualified ACCA/CIMA or 3 years accounting experience
Previous experience must include an accounting role within a construction or manufacturing discipline and preferably in a multi-site environment
Proficient in Sage & Microsoft Excel
Must be able to demonstrate an ability to analyse figures and translate for all to understand
Excellent communication skills and strong team player
Capable of working under pressure within tight reporting deadlines
