Director of Living Options

We are seeking to appoint a driven and committed individual to our senior management team. You will be passionate about the Cedar Foundations values of Collaboration, Equality, Dignity, Achievement and Resilience, and be focused on delivering quality person centred services.

The appointed person will be a member of the senior management team, expected to secure the implementation of the Cedar Foundations strategic objectives and contribute to overall leadership, management and sustainability of the services.

Hours:   37 hours per week

Salary:   £52,672- £60,892 (57 – 65 NJC Scale)

Contract:  Permanent

Location:   Cedar’s Ravenhill Reach Offices, Ormeau Embankment, Belfast

 

Essential:                              

  • Relevant Professional Management Qualification (Level 5 or above)
  • Substantial Management Experience of managing social care (or related) multi-site business, delivering against business plans and financial performance targets
  • Substantial Experience at a Senior Level of people management and the management of information systems.
  • Experience managing organisational change.
  • Extensive working knowledge of the regulatory and legal requirements impacting on operational services
  • A thorough understanding of current social care policy issues, the commissioning environment, quality standards and best practice.
  • Competent in the use of a range of IT packages.
  • Commitment to the values of Cedar
  • Hold a full current driving license valid for use in UK and Ireland and have access to a car on appointment

This criterion will be waived in the case of a suitable application who has a disability which prohibits them from driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements in order to meet the requirements of the post
