Digital Marketing Manager – Private Bank

Job Purpose:


Work under the direction of the Global Head of Digital Marketing and in partnership with colleagues across the Private Bank and Citi to drive the awareness, acquisition and communication of the Private Bank’s digital marketing strategy globally:


• Managing the website
• Leading the development of In View from a marketing perspective
• Developing the website to make it the leading private banking public site
• Managing the CMS and developing it where appropriate
• Reviewing the intranet to make significant improvements
• Monitor success and ensure continuous improvement



Citi Private Bank has developed significantly in digital marketing in the last two years and is now creating a new role to own the our platforms and content management.  The goals are:

2. To attract new clients and provide an excellent experience for existing clients and internal stakeholders

4. To ensure clients have the a superb digital experience
5. To strengthen the brand




Key Responsibilities:


Own the public website
  – Manage the content
  – Work with Technology to develop the website to be the leader in the industry
  – Ensure no issues, errors, bugs
  – Test and launch improvements in an agile process
  – Ensure all launches are fully tested across all devices and are successful
  – Work with colleagues to build SEO and other considerations into the ongoing improvement



 Own the CMS
  – Work with the Head of Content to ensure all content is produced and uploaded in a timely manner with the correct approvals and controls in place
  – Develop the CMS to ensure automation and simplicity wherever possible
  – Look for CMS improvement opportunities such as upgrades


In View
  – Working to improve all marketing aspects of In View – our secure banking platform
  – Developing content delivery and integration with other platforms


  – Manage a complete review of our intranet
  – If approved, run the project to rebuild the intranet to be far more effective


  – Manage our website analytics
  – Develop and improve what we track and learn
  – Work with colleagues to pull digital analytics from other channels together
  – Produce and distribute a monthly analytics pack with key insights and actions


General responsibilities
  – Work closely with legal and compliance to ensure all activities and communications are compliant
  – Work closely with the other members of digital marketing, global marketing, regional marketing to maximise learning and effectiveness
  – Develop strong relationships across the business to maximise effectiveness
  – Assist the Global Head of Marketing on developing and delivering the Digital Marketing Strategy
  – Assist digital marketing colleagues with other work as needed


• Management
  – One direct report will be supporting this role from London focussed on In View.
  – Also supported on content management by one intern who will not be a direct report



Person Profile:


• Excellent understanding and demonstrable experience of success in digital marketing – specifically content management, website development and analytics
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong communicator
• Good understanding of financial product, ideally with a deep knowledge of investments
• Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Good understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements 



Knowledge/ experience:


• Extensive years Website development experience
• Extensive years CMS experience
• Extensive years analytics experience
• Investments knowledge (ideally)





• Graduate degree or equivalent.
• Additional qualification/s in marketing will be considered favourably.
