Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Support our AWS production, staging and development environments.
  • Implement infrastructure as code for various cloud platforms, from planned architectures.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions for different technology stacks or container orchestration platforms.
  • Work with Engineering, IT and DevOps to troubleshoot and resolve issues in our AWS environments.
  • Apply security fixes and patches as required.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Computer Science degree preferred.
  • Python programming required.
  • Experience with Linux servers.
  • Good knowledge of networking and security fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving skills.
  • AWS / Cloud experience is a plus.

Opportunities:

  • Exposure to administration of Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
  • Exposure to infrastructure as a code (i.e.: Terraform), automation (i.e.: Ansible) and Containers (i.e.: Docker, Kubernetes) solutions.
  • Exposure to a wide variety of monitoring technologies and tools (Splunk, DataDog, New Relic, Nagios, etc.).
