Purpose and Objectives
The Multi Cloud DevOps team sits at the tip of the spear within SAP’s global public cloud transition. As a DevNetOps Engineer, you will be at the heart of the network engineering process building software and processes that empowers SAP to develop and deliver highly automated public cloud solutions. Working with our lines of business, you will help build and run our next-generation multi cloud technologies at global scale. Expectations and tasks
The DevNetOps Engineer EMEA works closely with network Architects and Engineers to deliver products from conception to launch. You’ll work across shared service departments, lines of businesses and global teams to deliver high quality agile solutions and ensure business goals are met. The role will help bridge the engineering and operations for Multi Cloud networking, by breaking down complex problems into tactical actions to drive secure innovations. This role requires extensive cross-group coordination across levels, excellent communication skills, complex horizontal cloud networking understanding and comprehensive business review materials that span across various functions. This role is based in Belfast Ireland.
You will be responsible for developing solutions, implementing requirements, creating key processes, procedures, defining structure and communications that facilitate product planning and execution. You’re equally at home explaining technical recommendations to colleagues as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product operations with engineers. You are highly resourceful, analytical, have a combination of focus, flexibility, self-motivation, integrity, willingness to put the team and company’s interest above all else.
