Reporting to the AR Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely collection of payments and associated claims from customers.  The role is based at the company’s Financial Services centre. The job holder will be a member of the General & international Customers team and is responsible to the AR Team Leader.

You will be responsible for adhering to company credit policy, processes and procedures, maintaining credit control for designated customers and actively assist with resolution of customer payment deductions. Developing strong working relationships with cross-functional team members will be essential for this role as is working in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Credit Control department and have GCSE Grade C Maths and English or equivalent. Excellent professional communication skills and attention to detail will be critical in this position as will the ability to prioritise work and exercise good time management skills. Experience of ERP packages and protean experience would be an advantage and experience of Credit Control within a large organisation is desirable.
