MacBlair is a long-established builder’s merchant group with 16 branches trading across Northern Ireland.  In addition to supplying building materials we also specialise in Plumbing & Heating, Paint, Civils and Bathrooms & Tiles under the “Watershed Bathroom & Tiles” brand.

 

We are on the look-out for dynamic, enthusiastic individuals, both recent graduates and those with experience, who are keen to succeed and looking to advance their career in sales and builders merchanting.

 

CRM CO-ORDINATOR/ESTIMATOR

 

The Person

We are on the look-out for a CRM Co-ordinator/Estimator who can manage projects efficiently and assist the sales teams.

 

The Role

The successful candidate will assist sales teams in the preparation of quotes for tender purposes and help increase sales through the effective management of these quotes on live projects.  A vital part of the role is the ability to properly understand and evaluate client/customer requirements and provide a suitable MacBlair Solution.  The position is a full time, permanent role and provides the opportunity to work with a progressive company on notable building projects.

 

Key Task & Duties

  • Utilise and maintain the CRM system
  • Proactively gather up-to-date information from sales teams
  • Complete the tender process and pricing for existing and prospective customers for the entire MacBlair product range
  • Liaise with contractors/architects/suppliers regarding awarded projects
  • Develop business and pursue new tenders

 

Personal Attributes & Skills

Candidates must be self-motivated, computer literate, efficient and organised in their approach, have good communication skills and attention to detail while being able to work to and meet demanding targets.  Knowledge of the construction industry and an awareness of the BoQ tendering process is desirable although full training will be provided.
