CDE Global Ltd is a progressive and award winning company supplying the Global recycling, quarrying and mining industries with innovative aggregate processing solutions.
CDE are now looking to strengthen our IT team with the addition of the following position:
Business Systems Engineer
Reporting to: Head of IT
Job Purpose & Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparation and implementation of technical requirements for ERP system and other Business Systems. This will include developing, testing, and troubleshooting custom objects, data migrations, reports and permission sets. Working with and supporting external contractors where required. The candidate will be required to provide technical support to the project team. They will need to mentor and assist the support staff to ensure issues presented from the business are actioned to a high standard. The candidate will be an important member of the ERP change management team.
Providing and implementing technical requirements for ERP including:
Working closely with external contractors, other ERP technical team members and the project team to ensure requirements are met.
Working closely with external Database support team to ensure upgrades and maintenance are carried out and up to date.
Will be a member of the ERP change management team and liaise/prioritise future development of the system
Developing BI reporting system
Providing 3rd line support to the ERP systems and supporting technologies
Provide training, mentoring and documentation to team members and across CDE
Occasionally providing Out Of Hours support when required
