This is a great opportunity to join a global manufacturing company. We are happy to announce that we are recruiting for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our expanding commercial excellence team in Dungannon. This is an exciting opportunity that will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to join a global market leading engineering organisation.
To be responsible for all Business Intelligence reporting for machine sales and other business data across the company’s Materials Processing Segment (MP).
This will include the creation and maintenance of professional Qlikview Business Dashboards to provide instant visibility of key business trends enabling timely and accurate decision making.
To support the Commercial Excellence Team on all other current projects and initiatives.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Ongoing support and maintenance of the MP machine sales dashboards across all brands.
Ongoing support and maintenance of the MP pipeline management dashboards across all brands.
Receive, review, cleanse and link data sources to dashboards to ensure these reflect latest information, exploring where possible means to automate these processes.
Monitor accuracy of dashboards, identifying and working with brand teams to fix any problems or issues found.
Ensure current tools and business processes are reviewed regularly, make any identified recommendations for improvement of these.
Development and evolution of additional dashboards and analytical or business intelligence tools as required to support varying future business needs and to align with any new projects being deployed by the Commercial excellence team
To provide ongoing general support as required on all Commercial Excellence projects & initiatives
Experience and Qualifications:
3rd level education or equivalent experience in relative field
Demonstrable experience of business analytics and data manipulation
Proven recent in depth experience of working in a business intelligence / business analytics role
Key skills and attributes will include:
Business intelligence software development skills & experience (highly desirable)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular strong Excel modelling skills)
Strong commercial acumen
Strong attention to detail
Strong Communication skills
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Good planning and organizational skills
Good initiative to follow up on and resolve issues
Positive & flexible ‘Can Do’ approach coupled with ability to work under pressure
