Excellent opportunity for an Accounts Administrator based in Armagh

Gmac Utilities Ltd is currently looking to fill the below post which has become available within a rapidly growing company. The position is full time and based at head office in Armagh.

Accounts Administrator

The Role includes:

  • Inputting data onto Sage Accounts System
  • Online banking on both sterling and euro accounts
  • Raising sales invoices and issuing statements
  • Monitoring credit control
  • Bank reconciliations including sterling, euro and credit card accounts
  • Reconciling supplier statements and monthly payments
  • Liaising with management, suppliers, customers & external agencies
  • Monitoring the purchase ledger function, issuing purchase orders & resolving queries
  • Weekly payroll for both UK and ROI companies
  • Submitting quarterly UK and bimonthly ROI VAT returns
  • Monthly costings and data reporting to management
  • Telephone, record keeping & general office duties


  • Min of 5 GCSE’s grade C or above including Maths & English        
  • Experience using Sage accounts
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role would be an advantage
  • Clean, full driving licence
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • Excellent telephone manner, communication, organisation & administration skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to act on personal initiative
