Systems Administrator, competitive basic plus annual bonus

MRP, a subsidiary of First Derivatives PLC, is a leader in software development focusing on predictive analytics combined with a full portfolio of end to end Account Based Marketing solutions to our Technology clients across the globe, supporting their sales and marketing functions and ultimately leading to a stronger sales pipeline and increased revenue.

Supporting our global operations, our Belfast based IT hub is looking for a Systems Administrator to join the team. You will play a key role in the growth of our IT network providing support in the day to day running of the office networks, supporting the office staff and be involved in projects to assist in the development of the IT strategy

Job Duties:

Within this role you will work within a team capacity and have individual responsibilities. The below describe the primary functions but should not be considered an exhaustive list of job duties and responsibilities for the role.

  • Administer and support in Active Directory Infrastructure
  • Administer of Cisco Call Manager telephony solution
  • Strong working knowledge of Veeam Backups
  • Install, configure and administer of Dell servers and SANs
  • Respond to and resolve help desk incidents
  • Imaging and deployment of PCs / Laptops
  • Maintain detailed inventory of computers and other IT equipment as well as software installed in computers
  • Ensuring critical applications are functioning correctly
  • Administer and support Siebel CRM solution
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures
  • Troubleshoot on moderately complex network and telephony problems
  • Administer user access for the network and key business applications
  • Install and test computer-related equipment
  • Very limited travel required (1-2 short trips per year) 
  • Other ad hoc duties

Required Experience:

  • 2-3 years supporting Active Directory Infrastructure
  • 1-2 years supporting o365
  • 1-2 years supporting VOIP infrastructure
  • Powershell scripting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision is critical
  • You will have excellent communication skills and be able to present information to stake holders across all levels of the business

 

Desired Experience:

  • SAN management and troubleshooting
  • MCSE is preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of VMware
  • Experience with an ITSM solution
  • Cisco Call Manager experience and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory/DNS/IP addressing
  • Experience supporting a CRM solution i.e. Oracle Siebel
  • Basic knowledge of Linux
  • Network cabling is optional
  • Ability to speak Spanish is desired but not required
