This post is available for two years and will work alongside key stakeholders (Students Union, Academic and Professional Services Staff) to support delivery of the Student Wellbeing Strategy (2017-21). The role will include the review and development of evidence based policies, initiatives and resources (informed through student voice and insight work) to positively promote and raise awareness of the supports and resources available to enhance the overall student experience and specifically benefit the mental health and wellbeing of the whole student body.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Academic and/or vocational qualifications i.e. NVQ Level 3, A levels in relevant subject (or equivalent).
  • At least 4 recent years’ relevant experience of working in a student support, Student’s Union or student engagement role within Higher Education.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the complexities of policy development and implementation in a Higher Education setting.
  • Experience of working effectively with students and detailed understanding of the student lifecycle.
  • Experience of analysing and presenting complex information and statistical data to inform decision-making.

Anticipated interview date: Friday 9 November 2018

Salary scale: £24,028 – £27,831 per annum (potential to progress to £29,514 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution)
