We are currently recruiting a Specifications and Systems Co-Ordinator for our Dungannon retail site.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, career minded individual who is keen to progress their career within Dunbia. Based at our Retail site, this individual will work as part of our existing technical team managing business critical technical and quality information.
Set up and maintenance of PLU files on MDS and Emydex shop floor systems
Management (to include set up and maintenance) of label designs on Delford system and dissemination of label designs to relevant production lines
Collation of relevant information and issuing of retail price list for each customer together with countersigning of price lists with the shift QA supervisor.
Updating of retail pricing information on Delford system and uploading prices to relevant production lines.
Maintain and update relevant retail price lists & communicate such to the business
Management of all relevant raw material, product specifications and Quality Attribute Sheets for related products;
Review final draft of header label artwork in advance of design approval to ensure that labels designs are complete, accurate, legal, meeting customer, technical and operational requirements, thereafter counter signing and approving the new designs with the Technical Account Manager;
Checking and sign off for new retail and OCM labels with relevant TAM and QA supervisor
Utilisation and control of data on relevant customer information management systems, will include but not limited to shelf-life, raw material specs, relevant risk assessments and other due diligence information
Participation in regular organoleptic sampling sessions
Training of technical administrator in relation to PLU files (MDS/Emydex) together with Delford data management and price lists such that they can provide holiday and sickness cover
Holiday and sickness cover for the technical administrator and other associated technical duties.
Demonstrable knowledge of the red meat supply chain / quality assurance and UK retailer industry essential with preference given to candidates with previous experience in dealing with major UK multiples. A thorough understanding of food legislation and legal requirements
Excellent communication skills together with a can do attitude;
Strong interpersonal and time management skills as the role will involve interfacing with key business stakeholders; therefore the ability to meet deadlines is essential.
Able to work shifts
Full clean driving licence
Good Computer literacy skills, pervious experience with use of IT shop floor systems
Previous experience working in the food industry, ideally in a quality role
A demonstrable understanding of food labelling legislation and food labelling
This role operates on a shift basis, including weekend work, which will be discussed at interview.
All candidates must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.
