Main Duties

  • Help deliver a wide range of cloud and mobile projects from the design phase to production
  • Develop and write great code (mostly Java, Swift, and JavaScript) on a daily basis, leading by example
  • Working as part of a team to build software systems of the highest quality
  • Learn, grow and adopt the skills to become a confident, independent software engineer
  • Research, evaluate and implement new technologies that help improve how we work
  • Proactively contribute to a team culture that values quality, robustness and knowledge sharing

Essential and Preferred Criteria

Essential Criteria

  • Completed a computer science or software engineering related degree, ideally 2.1 or higher
  • A keen eye for detail and quality which should be reflected in your outputs
  • An ability to program and solve basic programming challenges in a high-level language
  • A deep curiosity about programming and software in general
  • Great Interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills combined with excellent written skills to develop documentation

Preferred Criteria

  • Evidence of contribution to a personal or open source project
  • A good understanding of developer tooling (IntelliJ, Git, etc), testing and clean code
  • Experience and evidence of such in React
