REED HR are delighted to partner with our Food Manufacturing Client in County Tyrone who are seeking to recruit a Site Trainer

Site Trainer – The Role

  • Delivery of training packages including Induction, food safety, health and safety, manual handling, communication
  • Ability to revise current training packages, modules, platforms and continually recommend and develop enhance training experiences and ensure full up to date compliance
  • Support site managers with identification of training needs and work constructively with HR in providing training solutions that meet the needs of the business
  • Ensure all training records are up to date and compliant for audit purposes, maintaining the training database and recording systems
  • Prepare accurate training level / requirement reports on a timely basis
  • Liaise with management regarding training delivery, schedules and follow up requirements
  • Effective planning of training sessions to ensure maximum levels of compliance
  • Supporting the wider Group training function with apprenticeship programmes and our Butchery Academy framework
  • Developing strong links with training bodies and local training providers
  • Relevant administrative duties

The Person

  • The ideal candidate will possess L4 Food safety, IOSH Managing Safely and a Train the Trainer Qualification.
  • PC proficient to include MS office
  • Minimum 3 years previous training experience essential / NVQ experience desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise confidently with Managers and build solid working relations
  • Creative and innovative, able to work as part of a team as well as being self-driven to work on your own initiative
  • Driven and proactive in terms of revising training packages and methods
  • Enthusiastic about utilising a blended learning approach, particularly in relation to new technologies
  • Flexible approach for occasional early start, late finish, weekend work
