Management experience within a SHEQ function in a construction environment

TechMet is pleased to be working with one of NI’s leading manufacturing companies within the construction industry who enjoys an unrivalled international reputation.

They are now looking to recruit a highly experienced SHEQ Manager who will be responsible for the operation and delivery of an effective SHEQ Management programme.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure compliance and continual improvement in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
  • Manage the migration to ISO 45001
  • Effectively implement company policies and procedures, advise our operational team on SHEQ matters
  • Co-ordinate and conduct audits and inspections and report on SHEQ performance

The Person:

Ideal applicants must possess the following:

  • Management experience within a SHEQ function in a construction environment
  • A NEBOSH Construction Certificate and chartered member of IOSH or in the process of becoming chartered
  • Good working knowledge of relevant legislation and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
  • Proactive with the ability to drive continual improvement
  • Be able to travel to sites within the UK and overseas on occasions
