Service Engineer to work in the Extraction industry, to be based in the North West

Expert are working in association with their Client who are at the forefront of the installation and maintenance of Extraction systems, with projects throughout Ireland and occasionally in the UK. Due to a growth in the industry, they are currently seeking to add to their team with a Service Engineer. 

Job Purpose.

To provide a comprehensive on-site Service Engineer Function to their customers in relation to their systems and associated equipment.

To provide, as part of the Company’s commitment to professional aftermarket services, including of high-quality customer relations, a direct on-site point of contact with customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities.

•To provide the Company’s commissioning of systems and associated equipment on an on-site basis at customer premises.

•To deliver the Company’s Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) aftermarket service via on-site inspection at customer premise.

•To carry out all required and approved remedial, repair, and breakdown works on site basis at customer premises.

•To identify any recurring services and/or safety issues with company systems and associated equipment and to report these appropriately and without delay to the Aftermarket Manager.

•To identify, through on-site observation and liaison with the on-site customer point of contact, any additional customer service requirements and report these appropriately and without delay to the Aftermarket Manager.

•To promptly complete standard report documentation in accordance with the Company’s ISO9001 management system and the Company’s standard operating procedures.

Qualifications and experience.

•Experience of working with dust control / filtration equipment is preferable.

•Time served as Service Engineer is preferable.

•P601 qualification is preferable

•CSR qualification is preferable.

•IPAF and MWEP is preferable.

Please note training will be provided to cover the above to a successful candidate.

 

Special requirements.

•The role may involve overnight stays away from home for short periods of time.

•Although each service engineer has a dedicated area, the role may require UK travel on a rare occasion.

•40-hour standard week with occasional weekends
