As a result of this growth they are now seeking to recruit a Chartered Engineer with experience in clean water projects.
Your new role
You will be joining a growing team working on a variety of local and national projects and frameworks. The Belfast team are working extensively with NI Water. Alongside this work you will also be part of the regional water team which covers Bristol, Cardiff, Newport and Belfast, a business unit that has more than 100 water specialists covering, civil, structural, MEICA and process engineering. You will be responsible for the project management of multiple small to medium size schemes, undertaking client relationship management, financial control and overall scheme delivery on NI Waters Design Consultancy Framework (Clean Water, Non Infrastructure projects)
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you should be a degree qualified Civil Engineer who extensive experience of water engineering projects. You will have achieved Chartered status with one of the professional bodies and will have experience in the mentoring and development of junior engineers, technicians and apprentices. Some experience working in a contractor would be an advantage, as would previous experience of working with NI Water. Additionally you should have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to successfully communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
