The Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology (CCRCB) sits within the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences. CCRCB works with partners around the world in developing cancer treatments and pioneering advances in patient care.
The Technician will work within a research program funded by the Medical Research Foundation, led by Dr Donna Small. This project investigates the role of immunomodulatory molecules in respiratory cancers, such as malignant pleural mesothelioma. The successful Technician will provide specific in vivo and technical support services to the project, working directly with academic/research staff and PhD students so that experiments and research are completed in an efficient way. This post is available for nine months.

Anticipated interview date: Tuesday 6 November 2018
Salary scale: £20,836 – £23,334 per annum (potential to progress to £24,771 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution)
