VACANCY

Repairs Administrator

Established over 60 years ago, Gray & Adams is a market leader in the manufacture and supply of commercial trailers and refrigerated storage solutions, with a global export market. Currently employing over 700 people across five locations they are currently looking to recruit an ambitious, motivated and dedicated Repairs Administrator to work in their highly successful depot in Newtownabbey.

The Job

The main responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Dealing with administration duties for the repairs department including sales invoicing and quotation processing, purchase order number requests from customers and creation of job cards
  • Handling telephone enquiries and dealing with customer/ supplier queries
  • Assisting with maintaining stores, including stock control and processing associated documentation
  • Assisting with purchase and sale of parts including raising invoices
  • Providing general administrative assistance to the repairs department.

The Person

Essential Criteria:

Applicants must:

  • Be computer literate with proven experience of Microsoft Office
  • Have at least 1-years’ experience in dealing with customers both face to face and on the telephone
  • Have a proven track record of working in a busy administration department
  • Must be prepared to participate in a number of tests based on Microsoft products at interview stage
  • Must have own transport

Desirable Criteria:

Preference may be given to those applicants who have:

  • An IT qualification (minimum GCSE or equivalent)
  • Relevant industry experience i.e. transport, trailer manufacturing or experience in an industry dealing with technical or transport products
  • Experience of using Sage or an equivalent financial package
  • A basic technical understanding of trailers / tail lifts.

36 hours per week Monday – Thursday 09.00 – 17:00; Friday 09.00 – 16:00

Location: Co Antrim, Newtownabbey

Salary: Dependent on experience

33 days holidays per annum
