The role

Due to successfully growing the business through organic growth and contract wins we are looking to further strengthen our commercial function by recruiting a new position of a Relationship Manager. The ideal candidate should be excited about the opportunity to join a dynamic team, This is no ordinary sales role, the successful candidate will become the conduit between our internal commercial team and our key principals. You will become the key link between our principles such as Tilda rice, our sales and procurement teams. The individual will be responsible for execution of our supplier business plans, feedback on achievements and working jointly with all parties to further exploit opportunities.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is a great team player, a project manager to help step change performance in our business.

Ideal Locations

  • It is an office-based role, but will require occasional travel to meet with principles, retailers and sales teams

Role responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact for Principles
  • Ownership and implementation of the principle JBP
  • Working with all functions on the implementation and review of customer and principle plans
  • Using data to track progress and identify further opportunities
  • Review performance both internally and externally

Key experience and skills needed:

  • Implementation and management of business planning
  • Be pro-active and be able to work both independently and part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills to review data and draw conclusions / recommendations
  • A highly motivated and proactive person
  • A full clean driving licence is essential
  • Career-orientated
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Be of graduate calibre
  • Strong sales and presentation skills
  • Thorough and analytical
  • Excellent IT skills
