Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science

The temporary position is available for 12 months. The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences is an intellectual powerhouse spanning traditional humanities and social science subjects to innovative and cutting-edge areas in Creative Arts and applied professional studies.  The successful candidate will contribute to the achievement of the Faculty (AHSS) Recruitment Hub objectives and targets through the development and delivery of events and initiatives.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree, HND or NVQ level 4 qualification in a relevant subject.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ recent relevant experience of planning and delivering events.
  • Experience of developing marketing material and activities to promote events.
  • Experience of developing external relationships and partnerships.
  • Experience working in a target driven environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Ability to use MS Office packages and general confidence and aptitude with IT systems.

Salary scale: £27,831 – £32,236 per annum (potential to progress to £35,210 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution)
