Receptionist/Administrator (Newry)

My client, a well known sales company based in Newry, are currently recruiting for a Receptionist/Administrator to work as their front of house contact for the business. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role, and be available for an immediate start. This is a temporary role for an initial 4 weeks but will be made permanent for the right person, as a longer term opportunity within the business exists.

Duties include:

  • Create documents, presentations and spreadsheets using MS Office
  • Greet guests and ensure visitors are signed-in and escorted as and when needed
  • Support office space planning and related administrative tasks
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings
  • Managing schedule and conflicts
  • Screen and respond to/direct incoming phone calls, emails and inquiries in a professional manner
  • Occasional help with invoicing and accounts duties
  • Any other duties as required

The Ideal Person:

  • At least one years’ experience in a front of house administrative role
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail and customer service orientation
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
  • Experience within a legal environment would be advantageous

c£17,000
