QA Automation Engineer – Java Experience

VANRATH are proud to have an exclusive opportunity for a talented QA Automation Engineer to join a Global client as they continue to expand their Engineering team here in Northern Ireland

As a QA Automation Engineer your role will be challenging and varied offering rapid development and exposure to a wide range of technologies

  • Work closely with the product development teams, establishing Test plans to ensure high levels of product quality
  • Utilise Automation to test product performance and scalability
  • Gain exposure to Cloud infrastructure such as AWS
  • Mentor QAs in automation development

The Ideal Person

This role would be ideal for an ambitious Software Tester or Developer with an interest moving into a word class client that offers long term progression and development

  • A BSc Degree ideally in an IT or Engineering subject (minimum 2.1)
  • 3+ years experience in a Software development or Testing role
  • Coding ability in at least one language i.e. Java, C#, Python
  • Solid understanding of testing principals and product life cycles
  • Technically curious, keen to develop, adaptable

The ability to work as part of a team and lead from the front and a drive to self-develop are also highly desirable.
