This irish Company employs over 3500 people across Europe & specialises in Biotechnology & R&D to produce a range of ingredients/nutrients & vitamins for the food & beverage industry. These nutrients will support the food industry & also dietary supplements.

The company has an industrial scale bio-refinery and are a global leader in the supply of high value nutrients. Reporting to the CEO you will work with the commercial team developing technical solutions.

You will have: –
Strong project mgt. with responsibility for successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling & closure of projects from R&D to full commercialisation.
*Ability to challenge & develop strategies to commercialise projects & to build business
*Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope & within budget.
*Measurement of project performance using appropriate systems, tools & techniques.
*Assessment & control of risk & mitigation of same.

Role Deliverables:
Contribute to the development of MBIO’s project mgt. system & ensure compliance with the system through mgt. of projects.
Take full responsibility for execution of assigned projects.
Planning & defining projects with customers & mgt. using a change control process.
Planning, mgt. & reporting of normal project elements including:
WBS / Critical path monitoring & developing
Resource Planning; developing schedules & time estimation
Budget dev’t & cost estimation
Risk / Issue Analysis & Mgt.
Monitoring & Reporting Progress
Team Leadership & development; learning via feedback of experience
Strategic Influencing – development of stakeholders for each project & for issues & risksBusiness Partnering, vendor negotiation & development of negotiation strategiesControlling Quality and follow up

Experience & Qualifications
Formal project mgt. qualification/ certification (PRINCE 2; PMP)
BSc in science (preferably food/ horticulture/ agriculture/ biotechnology)

5+ years in project mgt. & ability to demonstrate successful outcomes
Experience in the development of project mgt. in food/ agritech or biotechnology sectors
The use of project mgt. software, such as Microsoft Project
Proven track record in having commercialised a product or process through mgt. of a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent client-facing & internal communication skills
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail & multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
