Payroll Administrator, Belfast, £18-20k

Our client is a multi-million pound business who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join their Payroll team who are based in Newtownabbey.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in production and processing of weekly and monthly payroll runs, producing reports, building journals, month end procedures, PAYE and Pension returns.
  • Processing of new starters, including identity and eligibility checks, also processing of leavers and production of P45s.

 

Criteria:

  • Minimum 1 year previous experience of weekly and monthly payroll processing
  • Fundamental understanding of payroll theory and relevant tax legislation
  • Understanding of RTI requirements and Auto-enrolment regulations
  • Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Particularly MS Excel at Moderate to Advanced skill level

 Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of Sage 50 Payroll
  • Experience of Import Templates and Data Import Procedures
  • Knowledge or Experience of ROI Payroll Legislation
  • Knowledge of Data Protection Legislation

  

In return you will be offered a challenging role with a salary of £18-20k depending on experience. Working hours are 9am – 5pm, and free parking is provided.
