Team lead roles for FMCG manufacturing - Craigavon

Our client operates from modern factory premises, running high volume, high speed production lines to produce food products for the European market.   Due to continued growth they are now seeking to recruit Operations Team Leads to work on various shift patterns.

The Role:

The Operations Team Lead will report to the Shift Manager/Business Unit Leader and have full accountability for managing and leading to achieve all business KPIs and goals within their production area.   They will lead and engage a team of production operatives to ensure safety, technical, quality, service and leadership targets are met.


  • Effective implementation of all H&S standards
  • Driving a quality culture and taking full accountability for technical KPIs
  • Oversee and manage the production shift, making sure hand-overs are complete and comprehensive
  • Working to support cross-functional team working and ensuring team members are fully trained and developed
  • Develop a collaborative culture where employee engagement and communication are promoted and actively delivered
  • Assist in the deployment of CI and Lead techniques

The Person:

  • Ideally third level qualified (at least HNC/D)
  • Previous manufacturing experience in a first-line/supervisory capacity (Charge-Hand/Team Leader)
  • Have experience of working in a lean manufacturing environment, ideally food/drinks manufacture
  • Be competent in working to strict technical and quality standards – HACCP qualification would be an advantage
  • Knowledgeable on CI tools and techniques
