Network Support Analyst

Belfast-based but internationally known, my client would like to bring on-board another Network Support Analyst. The Network Support Analyst will be accountable for supporting and maintaining Firewall/ DMZ/ Internet technologies and devices. The appointed Network Support Analyst will also support all network technology used to connect services from regional data-centres to any connected end-point. Knowledge of supporting voice, video and web conferencing systems.

Providing 3rd line support and maintenance in the following areas:

  • Network and Data infrastructure and services
  • WAN / MAN inter-connection services between Regional Data Centres
  • LAN services/technologies
  • DMZ/Firewall/Internet technologies and software/hardware
  • Voice infrastructure and services
  • Providing 3rd line support for the timely resolution of incidents and problems.
  • Executing regular maintenance and monitoring tasks.
  • End-to-end ownership of incidents, ensuring accurate and timely updates are maintained
  • Accountable for the management and maintenance of systems and services, by ensuring they are fit for purpose and available at all required time


  • Minimum 2/3 years IT experience with at least 1 years experience in a 3rd line role supporting a number of the technologies listed in this job description.
  • Experience working within the professional services sector with an appreciation of the demands placed on support teams by the business.
  • Experience of working in an ITIL environment

£32,000 – £38,000
