The Mechanical Inspector will play an integral role in the delivery of major and minor projects by supervising and inspecting work and undertaking related administration. You will liaise with clients, design teams and Contractors to ensure high standards of workmanship and finishes are being maintained. You will ensure business continuity and health and safety compliance.

The successful candidate will have:

  • HNC in Mechanical or related Engineering discipline OR have completed a Building Trades Apprenticeship.
  • A minimum of five years’ post apprenticeship/qualification building site experience, including at least three years’ relevant experience and at least one-year’s experience at site/management level.
  • A thorough technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes.

Anticipated interview date: Thursday 25 October 2018

Salary scale: £33,199 – £39,610 per annum (potential to progress to £43,266 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution)
