As a Lead Payroll Administrator working within our central Belfast Shared Service Centre you will provide pro-active administration support in managing Payroll operational activity in line with SLA targets for our clients.

Becoming a Lead Administrator with HR Solutions:

As a Lead Payroll Administrator working within our central Belfast Shared Service Centre you will provide pro-active administration support in managing Payroll operational activity in line with SLA targets for our clients. The Lead Administrator will be the first point of escalation for a team of Administrators and work closely with the Payroll Controller to assist them in their role, deputising for the Payroll Team Leader when necessary.

What you will do:

  • Act as the first point of contact for payroll administrators within the specified team, including escalations
  • Delegate/assign work to other administrators within the team
  • Quality check the work of the payroll administration team
  • Ensure all work is carried out to meet SLA’s / KPI’s and Shared Service Centre standards
  • Answer and respond to queries in line with system script and relevant policies and procedures
  • Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement to processes and services

Your experience will include:

  • Previous Payroll Administration experience
  • Experience of multi-tasking and prioritising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate with accurate data entry skills
  • Understanding of performance management techniques (desirable)
  • CIPP qualified or working towards (desirable)
