HR Officer Food Manufacturing Moira

VANRATH is pleased to be partnering with an organisation with a long established heritage in the food production sector, presently seeking to appoint a HR Officer to a newly created role.

The HR Officer will avail of a strong base salary, highly inclusive and collaborative culture and a very modern working environment.

Reporting into the Group HR Manager, this role will work to deliver a combination of operational HR support and group wide projects and initiatives. The role will work in a small (3 presently) fast paced HR Team dedicated to providing an outstanding people service, in a collaborative and highly inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Leading recruitment activities from planning to offer
  • Support and Advise Managers on Employee Relations
  • Track all attendance related disciplinary meetings, giving feedback and concerns to management team
  • Support managers with Performance Management system and review training needs identified
  • Ensure all HR matters are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
  • To conduct exit interviews for staff leavers and analyse the data

The Person

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR Officer, with 3 – 5 years experience operating at this level or above.

  • 3 – 5 Years General HR Officer experience;
  • 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline (i.e. Business Studies / Human Resource Management);
  • Knowledge of and experience in recruitment process, training and development, performance management and employee engagement;
  • IT literate – proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • HR Software experience;
  • Highly developed organisation & Time Management skills;
  • Experience in preparation and delivery of workshops on subjects related to the broad HR function;
  • Proven conflict resolution experience;
  • Confident and engaging approach;
