Graduate C# Developer

Do you have 1 years’ commercial experience in software development using C#, ASP.NET and SQL?

We are seeking a Graduate C# Developer based in Belfast City Centre. The package includes a competitive salary along with a 10% annual bonus, paid overtime, pension, private medical insurance (dental, optical), voucher scheme, flexible working hours and more.

If you don’t have 1 years’ experience, we would consider a candidate with a strong degree and a portfolio of work that showcases your ability in C#.

Who is the company?

My client is a cloud-based software provider that has been operating out of Belfast for 30 years. They were acquired by an American company a couple of years ago who put plans in place to establish a new research and development facility in Belfast which will see them taking on 50 more IT staff over coming months; including the establishment of an eCommerce centre of excellence.

This investment is part of a larger strategy to expand the customer base in the UK. Cloud computing is a rapidly emerging industry with significant export potential. This trend has seen a growing cluster of software investors choosing to grow their business in Northern Ireland.

What does this job involve?

These software development jobs will be based within the core development team with the company. You will play a key role in developing complex cloud-based products for the Irish, UK and US markets. Software Developers get the chance to work in different teams so that they can use different technologies and learn more skills. You will also get the chance to work in the UK Development team that works with Front-End technologies such as JavaScript including the Angular and Knockout frameworks.

Each team in the business is a SCRUM team and you will be counted on by your colleagues to share your technical expertise to solve complex programming problems. You will also create technical specifications for any enhancements to the products.

What skills are essential?

To be considered for this job, you will need at least 1 years’ experience in enterprise software development using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL. You will need the ability to think creatively and develop new ways of handling technical tasks. A strong work ethic and the ability to work to deadlines is required.
