Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Belfast City Centre, Finance Shared Service – up to £70,000 plus excellent package

MCS Group is working with their client to appoint a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for their Belfast City Finance function.

This client are truly global leaders in their industry sector with a significant footprint and as such are transforming their business to accelerate their activity in current and emerging markets.

To date in Belfast they have appointed a number of financial professionals since their inception to the NI market and have a strong growth and strategy plan to continue with this success.

The position of Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for the daily accountability of their direct team to include the following;

  • Strategic planning processes
  • Management of quarterly forecasting processes and reviews with finance business partners
  • Month end management information packs to include supported variance and commentary
  • Monthly and quarterly consolidation of management information across business areas
  • Board level reporting and provision of commentary to support decision making
  • Close liaison with the reporting centre of excellence to drive performance and standards bench marking

The Person

  • Professionally Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Experience of partnering and working with a presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Proven leadership skills to promote and drive functional strategies and operational excellence
  • Shared Service experience preferred
  • Proven track record in Financial Planning & Analysis within a medium to large, complex, international environments
  • Excellent commercial focus with the capability of applying focus to innovate and solve problems in order to achieve results.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship building skills both internally and externally
  • Confident line manager
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong finance operations experience
  • Knowledge/experience of ERP Systems (preferably Oracle R12 including Hyperion Planning and OBIA)
