Terex are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at our Global Business Services site in Lurgan. This is an excellent opportunity to join a truly global organisation that offers excellent long term career opportunities.
Our Global Business Services (GBS) Centre in Lurgan is a global hub for accounting and technological excellence at Terex. Our smooth running and continued success internationally relies on the expertise, effort and energy of our GBS teams. This is your chance to work at the very centre of our business in the very centre of Northern Ireland.
You have the skills and responsibilities to take on the variety of tasks that our Financial Accountants look after – from the monthly accounting activities and month end responsibilities to Forecasting and internal control compliance.
It’s a role you could do in many organisations – but at Terex it’s a role which offers something more. Firstly you’re a vital part of our global success, your accuracy and tenacity helping us hit our financial and growth targets. You are part of a team of exceptionally dedicated and hard-working team members working towards shared goals.
Secondly, it’s a role with variety. As a business we’re constantly looking for better, smarter ways to work. We need people who will thrive in that environment – people with a passion for improvement and a willingness to try new approaches (and not be put off if it doesn’t work).
So of course we need relevant experience and professional skills. But we also need the right personality. Are you a problem solver with a flexible approach to new ideas? Are you someone happy working at a fast pace, and able to do so without compromising quality, regular communication or attention to detail? Are you looking for the next step in your career that will offer you numerous opportunities to grow and develop?
Then join the team and you’ll receive an attractive salary package and all the opportunities you’d expect at a leading, global engineering organisation. Plus, you’ll get to leave at 2pm every Friday for an early weekend.
This above description is non-exhaustive and there may be additional duties in accordance with the role.
