Finance Project Manager, qualified Accountant,

My Client is recruiting for a Finance Project Manager to lead the transition of processes from a client’s in-house finance function to the my client’s managed service. The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with strong Finance systems experience. You will join a rapidly expanding business that offers excellent working conditions and career development opportunities.

The Role

  • Client scoping and analysis – Working with the client to gain an understanding of their business
  • Documenting all finance and related processes that would be relevant to service deliver
  • Identifying what resources are required to deliver the client requirements
  • working with the client to agree an appropriate time frame for transition of responsibilities
  • Developing the service delivery modelFormalising processes, timetables and responsibilities
  • Reviewing and testing the finance system once client data has been uploaded
  • Managing client customisations and integration requirements
  • Setting up the client service delivery portal
  • Business development – Identifying opportunities to streamline systems and processes across the client portfolio

The Person

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
  • Strong finance systems experience
  • All round finance function knowledge (Financial Accounts, Management Accounts, VAT, Corporate Tax, Payroll)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve buy-in from various stakeholders
