Finance & Administration Assistant

Belfast

c.£19-21k DOE

Our client is a successful and growing Media Company. Due to their continued success they are looking to recruit a dedicated well-rounded finance professional to assist with their day to day finance operations working along side the Head of Operations & the Operations Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity with an exciting and growing business.  This role will initially be offered on a 6-month contract with the potential for this to be extended for the right individual.

Key Duties:

  • Bookkeeping
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Processing/sending invoices
  • Processing expenses
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Petty cash
  • Monthly payroll
  • Updating of various cost monitors
  • Supporting production accounting control processes
  • General administration to support the operations department
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Essential eligibility criteria:

  • Recent relevant experience in a finance team
  • AAT Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping (or equivalent)
  • Experience in accounting packages
  • Excellent administration & organisational skills
  • Highly computer literate including strong Excel skills
  • Strong team player
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Enjoys working in a busy office and works efficiently and proactively
