Excellent chance for process & manufacturing engineers to move straight into management.

Engineering Manager (Manufacturing & Process Improvement)
Lisburn, Co. Down
£35,000 – £40,000 – Likely range for a suitable candidate.

A new job, with a popular employer, for an ambitious individual. You?

You will be challenged to drive continuous improvement and lean methodologies through a team of 7 subject matter experts, you will manage the Process & Engineering team to work towards the common goal of becoming a lean, mean, blinds manufacturing machine.

Part of the challenge you will face is developing graduate, junior and even senior engineers in their knowledge, planning & application of lean manufacturing & continuous improvement projects. With a team of 7 engineers reporting to you, each aligned with a different product, you will become the senior point of contact for engineering problems & projects.

To do this, we believe you will need to have previous & high-calibre experience within process engineering, and preferably (Not essential!) people management skills.

Most process or manufacturing engineers will have lent a helping hand to a graduate every now and again, however, we would be on the hunt for someone who thrives in this area. Do you get a buzz when you are helping, and the penny drops for them?

The Wishlist;

  • Mechanical / Manufacturing 3rd level education (2:2 minimum)
  • 5 years experience being high-involved in driving of continuous improvement & lean.
  • People management experience

If you hit the mark, don’t miss out, interviews will be ongoing in the hunt for the perfect candidate.

What happens when you apply?

  1. You send your CV to Jack – our principle consultant for engineering & technical roles, who will give you more information on the company, and provide you will a full job specification for the vacancy.
  2. All being well, your interest in the job will increase, and you will request our consultant to make an application on your behalf (Yes, we do that for you)
  3. You will be kept in the loop. Any progress, feedback, queries, interviews etc will be relayed to you immediately.
