Energy Monitoring Engineer job in Northern Ireland – Brightwater Recruitment have been commissioned to bring to the market a new role for a leading Environmental Consultancy in the Mid – Ulster area who are seeking an Energy Monitoring Engineer job in Northern Ireland.

The Company

Our client has been providing a range of Environmental and Energy compliance activities throughout Ireland and are recognised as the leading provider in their industry serving a range of blue-chip clients, public sector, commercial, industrial and private sector.

Due to year on year growth our client has a requirement for an Energy Monitoring Engineer job to join their team on a permanent or contract basis with a great opportunity to develop the role as their own.

The Role

As an Energy Monitoring Engineer job you will be providing a range of energy monitoring service compliance auditing and project management activities to clients across Ireland. Some of the duties and requirements will include:

  • Monitor and record energy usages from a range of commercial equipment on client premises.
  • Produce weekly and quarterly report on usage and identify areas of improvement with the production and facilities teams.
  • Ensure that the clients ISO 50,001 accreditation is maintained and report non-compliances.
  • Be proactive in Carbon Credit trading with sister sites throughout Europe.
  • Be comfortable in presenting findings to senior member of staff.

The Person

The candidate for the Energy Monitoring Engineer job will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Have a third level qualification in an Energy or Technical Discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role. Pharma experience would be desirable.
  • Have relevant knowledge relating to commercial greenhouse gas emissions and EU Protocol for Carbon Credit trading.
  • Have experience in working to ISO 50,001
  • Have excellent project management skill, able to handle multiple projects at a time.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate to clients and co-workers at all levels.
  • Be willing and flexible to work in a number of client premises through Northern Ireland and the Greater Dublin area.
  • Current and valid driving licence.
